Drawing design inspiration from the many Boutique Hotels they have visited, Paula and her husband Steve often refer to their home in San Clemente as the ‘O Hotel’.  In fact, what began as an entertaining reference, now has friends asking; what upcoming events are happening at the ‘O’ this weekend? 

We all crave an escape and hotels offer us that opportunity. But the reality is we can’t get away every weekend.  So think about this; what if we begin to incorporate the elements of hotel design into our own homes?  What if we redesign our bedrooms into Master Spa Retreats?  Or how about an indoor/outdoor patio that reminds us of our favorite rooftop hangout?  A few minor decorating changes and a minimal design approach can actually change how we live and ultimately how we feel.  Hotels eliminate clutter so that upon arrival your mind is free and calm.  Why not create spaces in our own homes that offer the same tranquility?
